Pregnancy is an important and precious time for every woman with no exception. It because we know a magical phenomenon, precious creature from God and a new story of a grand adventure is growing inside women’s belly. 

For all of you woman who are pregnant, getting pregnant, pregnant for the first time or all of you who try to getting pregnant I’m sure that you are already heard about pregnancy myth which surrounding around us. Whether it’s comes out from your mother, your friends or co-workers. But sometime it becomes little bit annoying because it increase our anxiety about our pregnancy time. But no need to be too concern or become over anxiety because on this I will revealed some undercover fact behind common pregnant myth which become an urban story nowadays.

Myth: Related with baby’s gender I was pretty sure you already heard about this pregnancy gender prediction myths.”Baby gender can be determined from the size of your belly during second trimester of pregnancy”.
The fact: This Myth is one of baby’s gender myth which totally wrong. For sure, pregnant belly size is influenced by the amount of fat, body shape, genes, and other forms of female pelvis. So we can’t determine or bet the baby’s gender according to this pregnancy myth.

Myth: Pregnant women like to eat ice cream and candies during pregnancy.
The Fact: Yes, another pregnancy myth about food and menus during pregnancy. The fact behind all of this myth is, the pregnant woman’s desire to eat a food is so diverse and we can’t count or judge a woman with the others.

The Myth: Eating a salmon can harm the fetus because it very dangerous
The Fact: Did you know that salmon contains fat omega-3 oil? This nutrition according to medical profession statement, Omega 3 is actually good and healthy for pregnant women. So pregnant women are permitted to eat sushi, but avoid mackerel and tuna.

The Fact: We all know that cat may bring many diseases. But it’s not mean pregnant woman can’t keep their cat. The important fact, stay away from their litter boxes because it may contains dangerous parasite from what they eat.

The Myth: Exercise can be dangerous for pregnant woman (yes right, another myth with no reasonable purpose)
The Fact: Absolutely wrong!!  Pregnant woman need a lot of physical movement to keep their body fit but with recommendation from the doctor and controlled exercise. They allowed to walking, swimming and yoga to increase their body health and prepare for give a birth.

The Fact: Pregnant woman are allowed to do that during pregnant. The real reason why many couples avoid to done this is because hormonal change during pregnancy will affect them to do that.

The Myth: Take a bath is dangerous for pregnant woman. (And we can laugh from now on)
 The Fact: The great myths which affect every point of view from pregnant woman because they decide to not take a bath until give a birth. What real here, people’s expectation to take a bath with hot water. High temperature is harmful for the baby development especially in the first trimester.

The Myth: Pregnant women should not sleep on her stomach below

The Fact: First trimester (first three months of pregnancy), pregnant belly is still possible to be made to sleep on her stomach. But after that, sleeping on your back is recommended for pregnant women because it kept your baby’s position.

The Myth: Junk food such as hamburger or pizza is not good for pregnant woman.
The Fact: Of course it’s not good not only for pregnant woman but also for every people because junk food may trigger serious complication. But junk food such as hot dog is still allowed for pregnant woman provided it cooked with proper ways and not consumed in large amount. And for everybody stay away from junk food.

The Myth: Alcohol and pregnant woman is like an enemy
The Fact: I think alcohol is not good for everybody moreover for pregnant women. Between all of the myth that I mention above, this is one of the myth that clearly true. Alcohol may harm your fetus, disturb you baby’s development and destroy your organ.

Basic Knowledges For Mother, Important Phrases of Pregnancy

Every married couple always would to have a baby. One of the most steps that they should face is pregnancy. Pregnancy in medical knowledge know as a time when woman carrying an embryo inside their womb. Usually it will take 40 weeks from the first day of pregnancy or their latest menstrual period. And in the other medical world we know that there are 3 phrases of pregnancy.

First trimester of pregnancy (on the other words, first 3 months of your pregnancy)
 In the first trimester of pregnancy, the fetus inside mother’s wombs is still on very weak condition. On first trimester, the fetus becomes so fragile so that on this phrase there is wide chance for miscarriage during first trimester o pregnancy. As a result mother should keep their health, care of her condition to protect their baby. In first 3 months of pregnancy mother will experience some physical change on her body. What we need to remember, fetus or baby inside the womb will growing well or not is depend on nutrient that consumed by mother. For the mother who in first trimester, beside you need keep on your physical condition you also need take your attention to the food that you eat. Eat with menu which contains high nutrition so your baby will get enough nutrition for their development.
If the mother’s weight before their pregnancy is still on the limit soon their first trimester of pregnancy the mother need additional calories for about 2200 each day. On this first 3 months of pregnancy or 11 weeks of pregnancy every organ that developed the fetus is start to form and function.

 Second Trimester of pregnancy (second 3 months of pregnancy)
In the second trimester of pregnancy physical change will be much seen marked by maternal weight gain during pregnancy, breast become larger and on this phrase or in second trimester of pregnancy mother’s digestion will experience some disturbing symptoms as the effect of hormone progesterone which make relaxation in the womb. If the mother experience morning sickness during first trimester, on second trimester morning sickness is not appear. On this phrase the fetus development show some progress. Fetus will give a response to any stimulation from outside. Normally, baby’s weight is for about 1 kilogram. On second trimester baby’s physical development such as ear, nose, fingers are begin to form even not perfect. If mother would do a USG test they can see that their baby is perfectly forms with every organ.

Third Trimester of Pregnancy (3 third month of pregnancy)
 This is the last phrase and on this stage the baby development will approaching their completion. The baby started to move inside mother’s belly. But the baby’s movement will be decrease on 32 weeks of pregnancy because it almost fills the entire space of mother’s wombs. The baby become bigger and larger and the mother could feel fetal movement. Baby will grows rapidly, doubled if we compare with first trimester and second trimester of pregnancy. Thing to do for third trimester, do some exercise to keep your body fit. At this stage it’s recommended to talk with your doctor frequently because no longer then you will give a birth to your baby.

By spend some of your time to diet, timing and position now you have positive advice on you fertility even on this point you never reach it. If you need a lubricants before make love during you pregnancy plans you should avoid artificial lubricants. And if you really need it use warm water for a safe lubricant. A study revealed that artificial lubricants can kill the sperm from your couple.

2.       Various Drugs medicine
When you’re on a program planning to getting pregnant you should stop any medical treatment. Some of conceive helper suggest you to stop it because it can trigger various health program during pregnancy plans.

5.       Alcohol during pregnancy plans
When preparing your pregnancy avoid any drink that contains alcohol. The alcohol becomes the most reason for miscarriage today. So if you are planning a pregnancy, stop the consumption of alcohol.
6.       Smoking
Smoking will reduce the chance to get pregnancy during your pregnancy planning program. When your husband smoking around you, ask him to stop his habit. Smoking also can reduce the quality of sperm inside men.
